Scheduling Your Photo Session

Newborn portraits are best taken during the first two weeks of life, when babies are still very sleepy and flexible. This is the best time to capture those cute curled-up poses.

Book your shoot during the second or third trimester of pregnancy to secure your session spot.

We’ll pick the exact date and time after your little one arrives.
If you’ve just discovered me and your little one will arrive shortly or is already here give me a call and I’ll do all I can to accommodate and schedule a session.
You will also be deciding your session package at this time.

Planning

Before the shoot, I’ll book with you a online or in person pre-session consultation so we can discuss your baby’s session details and style. Then, I’ll custom-design 4 different photography sets for your newborn portraits. I’ll also send you several emails to help you prepare for the session and go over all your questions and concerns.

Day of Your Portrait Session

Your newborn photography session includes full access to my props, backdrops, and client wardrobe. Bring your baby’s necessities, and I’ll take care of the rest!

The session will be relaxed and unhurried. Please be prepared to spend 3-4 hours in the studio, including breaks and feedings. Further, snacks and drinks are provided.

Ordering

2-3 weeks after the session, I will send you over your edited portraits via an online gallery where you can choose your favourite ones.

I’ll also send you a link of my image product menu and we’ll personalise your luxury artwork for your home if you wish to purchase some.

You will receive your fully edited images in an online gallery where you pick your favourites from the session.

£50 wall art voucher used towards Framed, Canvases and Acrylics

There is a £99 deposit to secure your session, this will be deducted from the amount of your selected package. The balance for your chosen collection is paid on the day of the session. If you wish to buy more images please upgrade to a bigger package at least a week in advance of your session date.

I will provide dresses and accessories, but you are welcome to bring some of yours if you wish. Hair and Make-up are not included in the package, please arrive ready :)

Only studio session available.

Images are usually ready within 3 weeks from the session date.

Newborn Photography Guide for Parents

 

  • I recommend booking a newborn session in the first 5 to 14 days when babies are still very sleepy and flexible. This is the best time to capture those cute curled-up poses.

  • Ideally, I recommend you to book your shoot during the second or third trimester of pregnancy to secure your session spot.

  • The newborn photo shoot can last up to 4 hours, allowing for settling the baby, taking photos, changing, soothing and feeding when required.

  • You need to bring nothing but you precious little one. I provide the backdrops, accessories and clothing needed for a session. I use natural materials for props which are gentle to your baby’ skin.

  • Your baby’s digital photos will be ready within 3 weeks after the photo shoot.

  • Absolutely! Siblings are welcome to the studio and included in your selected package.
